Henry Samueli is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur, recognized for his innovation in communications technology. After earning his Ph.D. from UCLA, where he later became a professor, Samueli co-founded Broadcom Corporation, a global leader in semiconductors for wired and wireless communications.

His contributions to digital signal processing have been instrumental in Broadcom's growth into a multi-billion-dollar company.

Beyond his technical acumen, Samueli is known for his philanthropy, supporting engineering and education through substantial donations and his stewardship of the Samueli Foundation.

He has been awarded the Global Semiconductor Alliance’s Dr. Morris Chang Exemplary Leadership Award and holds over 70 patents. .

In 2020, he was elected as member of the European Academy of Engineering.
