Chang Kun, a distinguished professor at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and doctoral supervisor, is recognized for his research in novel composite functional nanomaterials, efficient solar energy catalytic materials, and safe large-scale water-based energy storage materials.

His work has contributed to the understanding and development of nanomaterials and their interfaces, enhancing solar energy utilization and catalytic transformations.

Chang has published over 110 SCI papers in esteemed journals, with a citation count exceeding 13,000 and an H-index of 50. He has been awarded over 20 national invention patents and recognized with awards including "China’s Top 100 Most Influential International Academic Papers."

He was elected as member of the Euorpean Academy of Engineering in 2023.
